Two-factor authentication (2FA) failures during payment are controlled by your bank, not by FITR or Stripe. If your payment is being declined at the 2FA step, the most effective fix is to contact your bank directly.
Common causes include a mobile number not being registered to your bank account, many banks now require this for online payments as a legal requirement. These requirements can change, which is why payments that worked previously may suddenly fail.
Once you have confirmed the issue with your bank, retry the payment from My Purchases.
