How to stop new clients from signing up to a program without deleting or archiving it, while keeping it visible on your storefront.

You can block new sign-ups to any program without deleting or archiving it. The program stays live and visible on your storefront, but new clients cannot subscribe or download until you re-enable it.

  • You have reached your client capacity and want to pause new sign-ups temporarily

  • You are preparing a program update and want to prevent new clients joining mid-change

  • You want to keep a program visible on your storefront but make it invitation-only


πŸ–₯ How to block new downloads or subscriptions

Method 1 - from the programs list:

  1. Go to your Programs list

  2. Click the ... more menu next to the program name

  3. Select Block new downloads/subscriptions at the bottom of the menu

Method 2 - from program settings:

  1. Open the program and go to its Settings page

  2. Toggle off new downloads or subscriptions from there

When blocked, any client trying to access the program will see a message that it is currently unavailable.

To re-enable sign-ups, simply follow the same steps and toggle it back on.

Existing clients are seeing the program as unavailable

  • Blocking new downloads only affects new sign-ups. Existing active clients should not be affected. If existing clients cannot access the program, contact FITR Support.
