Change or Update the Price of a Program (Coach)

How to update the price of a program in FITR, how the change applies to new and existing clients, and what to do if the program reverts to Draft.

Updated today

You can update a program's price at any time from your FITR dashboard. The new price applies to new sign-ups only - existing clients continue paying their original price until their subscription ends or is cancelled.

πŸ“‹ When to use this

  • You want to increase or decrease the price of a program

  • You need to correct an incorrect price

⚠️ Before you start

  • Only draft and existing paid programs can have their price changed - free programs cannot be converted to paid (see related article below)

  • Always update prices inside FITR, not directly in Stripe - editing in Stripe can cause your program to revert to Draft status

πŸ–₯ How to update a program price

  1. Go to your Programs list

  2. Open the program you want to update and click Edit Program

  3. Scroll to the Price section

  4. Enter the new price and save

  5. Republish the program if prompted

βš™οΈ How the price change applies

  • Fixed Length programs - new price applies to all new downloads

  • Subscription programs - new price applies to all new subscribers. Existing clients remain on their original price

  • If you want to maintain grandfathered pricing for existing clients when raising prices, use a coupon

πŸ”§ Troubleshooting and FAQs

My program reverted to Draft status after a price change

  • Cause: The price was likely changed directly in Stripe rather than inside FITR.

  • Fix: Re-update the price from within FITR and republish the program. Contact FITR Support if the issue persists.
