Why Can't I Add Coaches to My Account? (Coach)

Why you cannot add coaches to your FITR account. Inviting coaches is included on every FITR plan and the free trial, so here is how to add a coach and what to check if you cannot.

Inviting coaches is included on every FITR plan and during your free trial, so there is no premium upgrade to buy first. You add a coach from your account settings, and they access everything through your account without paying a subscription of their own.

⚙️ How invited coaches work

  • An invited coach helps run your coaching under your account, sharing the programming and client responsibilities

  • They do not need their own FITR subscription, since they access everything through your account.

  • You are not charged extra to add them, and inviting coaches is included on every plan and your free trial.


🖥 How to invite a coach

  1. Log in and click your avatar in the top right

  2. Go to Settings and open the Coaches tab

  3. Click Invite a Coach

  4. Enter their email address and send the invite

They will receive an email to accept, and once they do, they are linked to your account.


🔧 If you cannot invite a coach

  • If the email is already linked to a client account, FITR will not let you invite it as a coach. Use a plus alias instead, such as [email protected], which still delivers to the same inbox.

  • Check that you are in Settings under the Coaches tab, since this is the only place invitations are sent from, and that you are signed into your coach account rather than a client account

  • Inviting coaches is available on every paid plan and during your free trial. If your trial has ended and you have not chosen a plan yet, start your plan and the option will be available.

  • If you have sent an invite and the coach has not appeared yet, the invitation is most likely still pending. They will show as linked once they accept the email

💬 Contact Support if...

  • You are in Settings under the Coaches tab on your coach account, but the option to invite a coach is still not appearing.

  • An invited coach has accepted but cannot see your clients or programs.

  • You sent an invite to the wrong email address and need to resend or cancel it.

  • You are not sure which plan you are on or want to check your active client count.
