Coach and client accounts on FITR are completely separate. If you are a coach, you cannot log into the FITR client app using your coaching account credentials. You need a separate client account to access client features.
π When to use this
You are a coach trying to log into the FITR client app but your credentials are not working
You want to experience FITR from a client's perspective
You want to test how your programs look in the client app
βοΈ Why this happens
Coach and client roles use separate account systems. A coaching account email cannot be used to log into the client app - the two are kept distinct to maintain the correct permissions for each role.
π₯ How to create a client account as a coach
You can create a client account using an email alias so everything arrives in your existing inbox:
Use a + alias on your existing email - for example if your coach account is
[email protected], sign up as a client with[email protected]Emails sent to the alias will arrive in your normal inbox
Make sure you are logged out of your coach account before signing up as a client
Download the FITR Client App and log in with the alias email
π§ Troubleshooting and FAQs
My email alias is not working for sign up
Make sure the alias uses the correct format - the + symbol goes before the @ sign, not after. For example:
[email protected]
Can I use the same email for both coach and client accounts?
No - each account requires a unique email address. The + alias method is the easiest workaround.
