Tracks — Overview and Setup (Coach)

What Tracks are, how they work, how to create and archive them, and what plan you need to access them.

Updated today

Tracks let you offer multiple content variations within a single program. Instead of creating separate programs for beginners vs advanced, or for strength vs mobility, you can package them all under one subscription. Clients choose which track to follow and can switch at any time.

📋 When to use this

  • You want to offer multiple training variations (e.g. scaled, RX, equipment-free) within one program

  • You want to bundle separate programs (e.g. strength + nutrition + mobility) under a single subscription price

  • You want to understand how to create, manage, and archive tracks

⚠️ Before you start

  • Tracks are available during your 14-day free trial and on the PRO Plan only. They are not available on the Free Plan

  • Any tracks you create during a trial or PRO subscription are stored if you downgrade — they just become inaccessible until you upgrade again

  • All tracks within a program must be the same program type as the primary track (e.g. all Session 1 Day 1, or all Fixed Length)

  • You can have up to 15 published tracks per program (including the primary). Archived tracks do not count towards this limit

🖥 How to create a track

  1. Open the program you want to add a track to

  2. Click the + New Track link

  3. Give the track a name and optional description

  4. Add programming content to the track

Important: As soon as you add programming content to a track, it becomes visible to clients already subscribed to the program. If you want to build the track privately first, archive it immediately after creating it (see below), then restore it when it is ready.

📁 How archiving tracks works

  • Archive a track to hide it from clients while you work on it. Archived tracks are not visible to clients and do not count towards your 15-track limit

  • The primary track (the first one created with the program) cannot be archived

  • Client history is preserved — when you archive a track, any performance notes and past sessions clients completed on that track are still accessible in their workout history

  • Restore an archived track at any time to make it visible to clients again

🔧 Troubleshooting and FAQs

My tracks are not accessible - I am on the Free Plan

  • Tracks require the PRO Plan. Your existing tracks are saved and will reappear when you upgrade. Upgrade at Settings > Subscription.

Can clients see all tracks?

  • Yes, clients can see all published (non-archived) tracks and switch between them freely from the app. They pick up at the same week and day when switching.

Can I add a track of a different program type?

  • No, all tracks must match the program type of the primary track. You cannot mix Fixed Length and Session 1 Day 1 tracks in the same program.
