Close a Community (Coach)

How to permanently close a community chat in FITR — this removes it for all participants and deletes all history.

Closing a community permanently removes the community chat from all participants and deletes the entire chat history. This cannot be undone.


⚠️ Before you start

  • Only the account owner can close a community — invited coaches cannot do this

  • Closing a community permanently deletes all chat history for everyone

  • If you just want to pause activity, consider muting the community instead


🖥 How to close a community

  1. Go to the Inbox in your coach dashboard

  2. Navigate to the Communities section

  3. Click More on the community you want to close

  4. Select Close community

  5. Confirm the action when prompted
