Zapier connects FITR to thousands of other apps so you can automate workflows, for example, adding new clients to a mailing list, sending a Slack message when someone subscribes, or updating a CRM. This guide walks you through the setup in 10 steps.
⚠️ Before you start
You need a Zapier account - a free account is enough to get started
You need your FITR coach account credentials ready to connect
See Set Up Zapier for an overview of what FITR's Zapier integration can do
🖥 How to set up Zapier in 10 steps
Log in to Zapier at zapier.com, or create a free account if you do not have one
Create a new Zap — from your dashboard, click Create Zap
Search for FITR in the trigger app search bar and select it
Select a trigger event — for example, "New Client Subscribed" or "Client Cancelled"
Connect your FITR account — Zapier will ask you to authorise with your FITR coach account credentials
Test the trigger — Zapier will pull sample data to confirm the connection is working
Choose an action app — select the app you want FITR to connect with (e.g. Mailchimp, Slack, Google Sheets)
Set up the action — follow Zapier's steps to configure exactly what should happen when the trigger fires
Test your Zap — run a test to make sure everything works as expected
Publish your Zap — turn it on and you are done
🔧 Troubleshooting and FAQs
My Zap is not triggering
Make sure the Zap is turned on (published). Also check that the trigger event has actually occurred in FITR since setting up the Zap — Zapier only catches events going forward, not historical ones.
Zapier is pulling different data from my account
See the article on Zapier test data differences for an explanation of why this happens during setup.
