What Are Zaps and How Do I Create Them? (Coach)

What a Zap is and three ways to create one — pre-built templates, from scratch, or using Zapier AI.

Updated today

A Zap is an automated workflow that connects two or more apps together. Each Zap has a trigger (the event that starts it) and one or more actions (what happens in response). Once published, a Zap runs automatically every time the trigger fires.

🖥 Three ways to create a Zap

1. Use a pre-built template

FITR has pre-built Zap templates on your FITR Zapier page. These are ready-made workflows you can activate in a few clicks — the trigger and action are already configured.

2. Build from scratch

In your Zapier account, click Create a Zap. Choose a trigger app (FITR), select a trigger event, then add an action in another app. See the full 10-step setup guide.

3. Use Zapier AI

Describe what you want in plain language and Zapier AI will suggest a trigger and actions for you. Available in your Zapier dashboard.
