You cannot directly connect an existing standalone Stripe account to FITR. When you go through the Stripe setup in FITR, a new connected Stripe account is created. However, if you use the same Stripe login credentials, the new account will appear alongside your existing one in Stripe's account switcher — so you can manage both from a single login.

You completed Stripe setup and noticed a new Stripe account was created
⚙️ How it works
FITR creates a new Stripe connected account during setup. This is separate from any standalone Stripe account you may already own. The two accounts are not merged.
What you can do: if you use your existing Stripe login credentials during the FITR setup flow, both Stripe accounts will be accessible from the same Stripe login. Use the account switcher in the top-left of your Stripe dashboard to toggle between them.
⚠️ Important
Always manage program prices, subscriptions, and coupons inside FITR — not directly in Stripe. Changes made in Stripe directly may not sync correctly
Do not cancel or delete the Stripe account FITR created, as this will break your ability to receive payments
