Every payment your clients make flows through Stripe. FITR and Stripe work together behind the scenes so you never have to manually chase payments, issue invoices, or remove clients who haven't paid. This article explains how the whole thing works.
π³ How the payment flow works
When a client pays for one of your programs, here is what happens:
Client pays at checkout β Stripe processes the card payment β Stripe deducts its processing fee β FITR deducts the Business Automation fee β the remainder is paid out to your connected bank account on your chosen schedule.
The whole thing happens automatically. You do not need to log in, approve anything, or take any action. The money arrives in your bank on your Stripe payout schedule - typically every two to seven days depending on your country and account settings.
π Two fees, two jobs
Coaches sometimes ask why they see two separate deductions on their payouts. The answer is that Stripe and FITR are doing completely different things.
Stripe's processing fee covers moving money from your client's card to your connected account. The exact rate depends on your country and card type - you can see full details at stripe.com/pricing. FITR does not mark up Stripe's fees - they pass through directly.
FITR's Business Automation fee (5.99%) covers everything built on top of the payment: your financial dashboard, automated tax calculation, invoicing, failed payment retries, dispute handling, and the access control that removes non-paying clients from your programmes automatically.

π¦ Payouts to your bank
Once Stripe processes a client payment and deducts both fees, the remainder is scheduled for payout to your connected bank account. Payout timing depends on your Stripe settings - most coaches receive payouts every two to seven days.
Your first payout takes longer - typically 7 to 14 days from your first successful client payment. This is a Stripe requirement and applies to all new accounts. After that, payouts follow your regular schedule.

π Connecting Stripe to FITR
If you have not connected Stripe yet, go to Settings β Stripe in your coach dashboard and follow the setup flow. FITR creates a new Stripe account for you during this process - you do not need an existing Stripe account to get started.
