How to Receive Payments for Your Programs (Coach)

How client payments work on FITR - including how Stripe handles transactions, how you get paid, and how to connect your bank account.

FITR uses Stripe to handle all client payments automatically. Once connected, Stripe processes payments, manages subscriptions, and pays out your earnings to your bank account - with no manual work required from you.

βš™οΈ How payments work on FITR

  • Stripe handles everything - when a client subscribes or purchases a program, Stripe processes the payment and handles all the financial infrastructure in the background

  • Your programs advertise in your currency - based on your registration details when setting up your Stripe account. Clients see prices in your currency and their local currency automatically

  • Payouts go to your bank - Stripe batches your earnings and sends them to your bank account on a schedule (weekly by default for accounts created after 1 February 2022)

  • FITR takes a 5% fee - this is deducted from each transaction before payout


πŸ”— How to connect Stripe

You need to connect Stripe before you can charge clients. There are two ways to trigger this:

  • Go to Settings > Payouts and click Connect to Stripe

  • Set a price on a program for the first time - FITR will prompt you to connect Stripe automatically

⚠️ Important - manage everything inside FITR

Always make changes to program prices, client subscriptions, and coupons from within your FITR coach account - not directly in Stripe. Changes made inside Stripe directly may not sync correctly with FITR.
