How the Stripe connection works

Currently, it is not possible to directly connect an existing Stripe account you already own to FITR.

When you connect Stripe through FITR:

Go to Settings in your FITR coach dashboard.


Navigate to the Stripe section.


Follow the prompts to connect your Stripe account.


If you enter login details linked to an existing Stripe account, Stripe will create a new Stripe account under the same login credentials.

This means you can still manage multiple Stripe accounts using a single Stripe login.

Managing multiple Stripe accounts

Once logged into your Stripe dashboard:

  • Use the account switcher in the top left corner of Stripe

  • This allows you to toggle between the different Stripe accounts connected to your login

  • It will clearly show which Stripe account is connected to FITR

This setup works similarly to managing multiple coaching accounts under the same credentials.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Problem: I expected my existing Stripe account to connect directly
Cause: FITR creates a new Stripe account during the connection process
Fix: Use the Stripe account switcher to manage all accounts under one login

Problem: I cannot see the Stripe account connected to FITR
Cause: You may be logged into a different Stripe profile
Fix: Use the account switcher in Stripe to locate the correct account
