Macros for Coaches: Setup and Program Integration

How to add macro targets to any day in your program schedule, and how macros blocks work with templates and copy/paste.

Updated today

Adding macro targets to your programs is straightforward. You add a macros block to any day in the schedule, and clients can then log their intake against those targets via their connected nutrition app.

πŸ“‹ When to use this

  • You want to set daily macro targets for clients as part of their program

  • You want to add nutrition tracking to an existing program

⚠️ Before you start

  • Macros work with all program types

  • Only one macros block is allowed per day

  • Macros blocks are fully compatible with templates, copy and paste, and drag and drop

πŸ–₯ How to add a macros block to a day

Method 1 - hover over a day in the schedule:

  1. Open your program schedule

  2. Hover over any day - the Macros icon will appear

  3. Click the icon to add a macros block to that day

Method 2 - from build mode:

  1. Open a day in build mode

  2. Click Add Macros block from the action menu

  3. If a macros block already exists on that day, this option will not appear - you can only add one per day

Once added, the macros block appears at the top of the day so it is easy to identify which days have macro targets assigned.

πŸ”§ Troubleshooting and FAQs

I cannot add a second macros block to the same day

  • Only one macros block is allowed per day. If you try to add another, you will be prompted to keep or replace the existing one.

Can I use macros blocks in templates?

  • Yes - macros blocks are fully compatible with templates and can be copied, pasted, and dragged across the schedule.
