Macros for Coaches: Assigning Macro Targets (Coach)

How to add Macros blocks to a program and set exact or bodyweight-based macro targets for clients.

Updated today

You can assign macro targets to clients in any program type using the Macros block. Targets can be set as exact gram values or auto-calculated from each client's bodyweight.

πŸ–₯ How to add a Macros block

  1. Open your program schedule and hover over a day β€” the Macros icon will appear. Click it

  2. Alternatively, in Build Mode use the Macros action button

Only one Macros block is allowed per day. If one already exists, you will be asked whether to replace or keep it.

βš™οΈ Target types

Exact targets β€” set specific gram values for Protein, Carbs, and Fat. Calories are auto-calculated: Calories = (Protein Γ— 4) + (Carbs Γ— 4) + (Fat Γ— 9). Best for 1-2-1 coaching.

Bodyweight-based targets β€” set targets as a ratio per kg of bodyweight (e.g. 1.5g protein per kg). Best for group programs. Clients must have a bodyweight recorded for this to calculate.

Group programs default to bodyweight-based. 1-2-1 programs default to exact. You can switch between modes at any time β€” previously entered values are saved.
