Macros for Clients: Bodyweight-Based Targets (Client)

How bodyweight-based macro targets work in FITR and how to log your weight so your targets calculate correctly.

If your coach has set your macro targets based on bodyweight, FITR automatically calculates your daily targets using your most recently recorded weight. For example, a target of 1.5g protein per kg of bodyweight will update each time your recorded weight changes.


πŸ“‹ Why you might be asked to enter your weight

If your coach is using bodyweight-based targets and you have not yet logged a weight in FITR, the app will prompt you to add one before it can calculate your targets.


πŸ“± How to add or update your weight in FITR

  1. Tap the Tracking icon in the bottom-right corner of the main menu

  2. Select the Body Metrics tab

  3. Tap the + icon in the top-right corner

  4. Search for Weight and enter your current weight

Your macro targets will update automatically once your weight is recorded.
