How to use a coupon to maintain the original program price for existing clients when you raise your program price.

When you raise the price of a program, the new price applies to all new sign-ups and to existing clients from their next payment date. If you want to keep the existing price for some or all of your current clients, you can do this using a coupon.

  • You are increasing a program price and want to honour the original price for existing clients

  • You want to apply a discount to specific clients mid-subscription without affecting others


βš™οΈ How to use a coupon to maintain pricing for existing clients

  1. Create a coupon in your FITR dashboard with a discount amount that brings the new price back down to the original price for the client

  2. When creating the coupon, you can set it to X number of uses - set this to match the number of clients you are creating it for so it cannot be used by others

  3. Apply the coupon to each client mid-subscription using the steps in the related article below

The coupon does not need to be shared publicly - you apply it directly to each client's subscription from your dashboard.
