Understanding Client Bands and Limits (Coach)

How client bands work, how your count is calculated, what happens if you exceed your limit, and how to upgrade or downgrade.

Updated today

Client bands determine your billing tier based on how many active clients you have. Each band has a fixed monthly price and a maximum client count. As your client base grows or shrinks, your band adjusts accordingly.

πŸ“‹ When to use this

  • You want to understand how your billing tier is calculated

  • You have received a notification that you are approaching or have exceeded your band limit

  • You want to downgrade to a lower band

βš™οΈ How bands work

Your current band and client count are shown in Settings > Subscription. Bands are based on your number of active clients. Clients with a free or paid subscription to one of your programs. Clients who have made a one-off Fixed Length program purchase do not count towards your band.

⚠️ What happens if you exceed your band limit

You will receive an in-app notification and an email prompt to upgrade. If you do not upgrade, new client subscriptions will be blocked β€” existing clients are not affected, but no new ones can join until you move to the next band.

πŸ–₯ How to upgrade to a higher band

Click Upgrade now from the in-app banner, or go to Settings > Subscription > Manage My Plan. The correct next band is pre-selected based on your current client count.

πŸ–₯ How to downgrade to a lower band

Reduce your active client count below the lower band's limit before your next billing date. The downgrade takes effect automatically at your next billing cycle, and you do not need to manually request it.
