Accept a program invite from the a coach

A coach has invited me to a program, how do I accept the invite?

Learn how to accept a program invite from your coach so you can access your training, schedule, and coaching support in FITR.


2. When to use this

  • You’ve received an email invite from a coach

  • A coach has added you to a program and you need to get started

  • You can’t see your program yet and need to accept the invite first


3. Before you start

  • Prerequisites:

    • A valid email address invited by your coach

    • Access to a desktop browser or the FITR mobile app

  • Required permissions:

    • None (client action)

4. Step-by-step instructions

Desktop

  1. Open the email invite sent by your coach.

  2. Click the ‘Click Here to Sign Up’ button.

3. Log in to your FITR account, or create one.

4.Once complete, you’ll be prompted to download the FITR client app to access your program. You can also view your programming from the left-hand menu on desktop.


Mobile

  1. Open the invite email on your phone.

  2. Tap the ‘Click Here to Sign Up’ button.

  3. If you don’t have the FITR app installed, you’ll be prompted to download it.

  4. Log in with your existing account or create a new account.

  5. Open the FITR app to access your training programs and messages.


5. Troubleshooting & FAQs

Problem: I didn’t receive the invite email.

  • Cause: The email may be in spam or was sent to the wrong address.

  • Fix: Check spam/junk folders or ask your coach to resend the invite.

Problem: I accepted the invite but can’t see my program.

  • Cause: You may be logged into FITR with a different email.

  • Fix: Log out and sign in using the same email address the coach invited.

Problem: The link says it’s expired or invalid.

  • Cause: Invite links can expire or be used only once.

  • Fix: Ask your coach to send a new invite.

Problem: My coach said they can’t seem to invite me using my email.

  • Cause: If you have signed up using your email as a coach previously, it will not be possible for you to be added to a program as a client.

  • Fix: Ensure you are using a client account.


6. Contact Support if…

Contact FITR Support if:

  • The invite link consistently fails after being resent

  • You accepted the invite but no program appears after logging in

Support will need:

  • The email address you were invited with

  • Coach name

  • Screenshot of the error message (if shown)
