Editing and Deleting Templates (Coach)

What happens when you edit or delete a saved template - changes only affect the template, not programming that was already built using it.

Updated today

Editing or deleting a saved template only affects the template itself - not any programming that was previously created using it. Each time a template is inserted into a program, it creates an independent copy.

πŸ“‹ When to use this

  • You want to understand what happens if you edit or delete a template you have already used

  • You want to clean up your template list by removing ones you no longer need

  • Any programming already created using that template is not affected - those copies are independent

  • Programming that was previously built using that template is not affected - the content remains intact in your programs

Editing or clearing a copy within a program

  • Editing or deleting inserted content inside a program only affects that specific copy

  • The original template and any other copies in other programs are not affected
